Recent certification work includes Buildings and Structures for the Newcastle Light Rail completed for occupation in early 2019. Des has been further involved during 2018 and 2019 with certification work for the Department of Infrastructure Justice for the refurbishment of Correctional Centres in the Hunter, Western Sydney and the South Coast. Work continues within the Coal Mining industry for the completion in 2019 of major projects in the establishment for new mine site administration buildings and operational infrastructure buildings in the Hunter Valley. Certification work within the Newcaslte, Hunter and Central Coast in the commerical and industrial sector continues to provide mainstream work opertunities for CodeWise Certifiers.
There is a great emphasis on our services for Building Fire Safety for the inspection and audit of existing building and installed fire safety measures for review of compliance to allow for the continued safety of occupants and reasurrance to building owners that their buildings are preforming to standards at the time of construction. Our consultation on compliance with the National Construction Code has been benefitial for addressing fire safety issues with Local Councils. For clients we have established Fire Safety Schedules for existing buildings to allow the continued operations for the issue of Fire Safety Statements.
